e-Learning systems in the Institute of Informatics

Two main systems of distance learning are used in the Institute of Informatics:

 

1) distance learning portal of the Wrocław University of Technology (Politechnika Wrocławska) based on Moodle:

2) learning platform of the Institute of Informatics based on the Microsoft's SharePoint Learning Kit platform and SharePoint Portal Server:

Other systems used in teaching:
Team Foundation Portal (TFS): https://eportal.ii.pwr.edu.pl

Caution

Starting from the new semester (summer 2014) we provide the ePortal based on the Sharepoint (which also includes, inter alia, the BOARD site) and the TFS environment in the new 2013 version.

We have also changed the authorization method. Access to the ePortal and to the TFS will be possible through email accounts used at the Wrocław University of Technology (Politechnika Wrocławska).

The condition to log in the first time to the portal and/or TFS using email account is a one-time password change. You should do it in the email system.

After changing the password in your email system, you can log in to ePortal and/or TFS. It is advisable to wait a short time after changing the password, e.g. few seconds.

In the login window please type your login in the following manner:

domain_name\mail_account
e.g. ii\John.Smith or ii\125386

If your email login is longer than 20 characters (including dot character), please type the login in the following form:

mail_account@ii.local
np. Kazimierz.Zapendowski@ii.local

The second format can be used by all users.
