EDUCATION

 

 

The Institute runs courses in the Faculty of Computer Science and Management in the main field of study - Computer Science, specializations: Software Engineering and Information Systems. The courses within engineer studies, MSc studies, PhD studies and postgraduate studies are offered in the systems of full-time and part-time studies. Some of them are run in English and the educational processes are aided by an Internet e-learning system.

The students can develop their interests by taking part in the research done in student scientific circles, such as: the Artificial Intelligence Circle “Cjant”, the Data and Exploration Interfaculty Student Circle “DaniE”, the “Grupa.NET” Interfaculty Circle, the “JavaTech” Circle, the “Progressive” Circle, the Software Engineering Circle “SEnS”, and the Virtual Reality Circle “VR Circle”.

The students also take active part in research projects, such as: Virtual Enterprise, e-Informatics, and Social Network Group.

The Institute collaborates with higher education institutions in other countries and supports student scholarships and training abroad. A Double Diploma Programme is run jointly with the Blekinge Institute of Technology (Sweden) and a Master of Science in Information Technology (Master IT) Programme is carried out with universities in Denmark, Germany, and Sweden.
