Who am I and what I do

I am a teacher who pass on knowledge to students and a researcher who is fascinated by the potential of intelligence.
I am involved in the application of computational intelligence. My current research interests includes application of neural networks, machine learning, pattern recognition. Lately I have been engaged in design methods of rule extraction from neural networks based on evolutionary algorithms. Recently, machine creativity seems very attractive to me as a future research field
Since 1988 I have been working as an assistant professor in the Institute of Informatics (former name Computer Science Department) of Wroclaw University of Technology in the Artificial Intelligence group supervised by prof. Halina Kwasnicka.
